What will swing the Yankees’ trade-deadline calculus on adding a righty hitter
NY Post
Let’s take a few Yankees developments and get to a question: Just how much do they need to add a righty hitter from outside the organization?
Development 1: DJ LeMahieu produced four hits on Sunday in a win over the Dodgers. He had three hits on May 24. In between, he went 0-for-15 with seven strikeouts.
Development 2: Jasson Dominguez suffered what the Yankees called a left thumb contusion, also on Sunday.
Development 3: Jazz Chisholm Jr., who last played in the majors April 30, is due to be activated off the injured list (oblique) as early as Tuesday — to play third base.

The Knicks won’t be raising a banner to the rafters at Madison Square Garden to commemorate their victory in the 2025 NBA Cup, and you can count your humble narrator among the faction that wishes they’d chosen differently. I’m not quite sure when it became mandatory to rinse as much fun out of sports as possible, but we’re sure trying.
