Hang on to your hats, London!
A special weather statement from Environment Canada is calling for winds gusting up to 80 km/hr continuing into late Wednesday afternoon.
The weather agency is warning that there's a risk of loose objects being tossed through the air, or the potential for tree branches to break. It's advising drivers to prepare for changing road conditions.
The winds are coupled with unseasonably high temperatures reaching up to a high of 15 degrees.
"Temperatures are expected to soar into the low to mid double digits today making it feel more like March or early April," said Environment Canada in its statement. It added the winds will diminish late this afternoon.
The statement applies to the London - Parkhill - Eastern Middlesex County and Strathroy - Komoka - Western Middlesex County areas.
