RCMP in the Northwest Territories are investigating after a woman was found dead outside a house in the southwest area of Yellowknife.
A statement from the RCMP says officers were called to Johnson Crescent just before noon on Sunday, following reports about an “unresponsive” woman.
It says emergency personnel confirmed the woman was dead at the scene and police investigated the house where she was found.
It adds that the investigation continues with the coroner’s service.
Police provided no details about the age of the woman or circumstances surrounding her death.
