Two-time Olympian Matthew Hughes of Oshawa, Ont., will be competing in the men's 3,000-metre steeplechase as the lone Canadian at the event. Hughes finished sixth in Tokyo and 10th in Rio.
The women's 200 will be headlined by Namibia's Christine Mboma and Jamaica's Shericka Jackson.
Mboma won silver in the women's 200 in Tokyo, and she will aim to return to the podium once again after winning the race last week at the final Diamond League meeting of the season in Zurich, Switzerland.
Jackson won three medals in Tokyo, including gold in the women's 4x100 relay.
