Canada's Mikaël Kingsbury captures historic 100th World Cup competition with win at home in Quebec

Canadian freestyle skier Mikaël Kingsbury earned the 100th World Cup victory of his career on Friday night.
Kingsbury, from Deux-Montagnes, Que., finished first in men's singles moguls at the Val St-Come, Que., competition with 85.83 points.
"It's unreal," he said on the FIS broadcast. "I cannot find the words."
Australia's Matt Graham took silver with 83.50 points and American Nick Page picked up bronze with 80.96 points.
The 33-year-old Kingsbury withdrew from last month's World Cup opener in Ruka, Finland, due to a groin injury from training last summer.
He had no issues on Friday night, pumping his fist several times once he reached the bottom of the hill.
"What a day," Kingsbury told FIS. "It's unreal ... I can't believe I'm at 100."
Kingsbury has yet to decide whether he'll compete in Saturday's dual moguls. He's considered one of Canada's top medal hopefuls at the Milan Cortina Games, where dual moguls makes its Olympic debut.
Kingsbury won gold in moguls at the 2018 Pyeongchang Games in South Korea. He took silver in 2014 in Sochi, Russia, and in 2022 at Beijing.
Kingsbury has reached the World Cup podium 143 times over his career. He has won 29 Crystal Globes.
