This is not the first time Pathan has celebrated India's win with the same song. He had danced to 'Afghan Jalebi' after India defeated Pakistan in the Asia Cup last year and also after Afghanistan's memorable victory over England in the Champions Trophy, turning it into a recurring celebratory gesture.
India's emphatic win was built on an outstanding all-round display, led by Ishan Kishan and Jasprit Bumrah.
