Virtual seminar on common traffic mistakes on Sunday

The Traffic Awareness Department under the General Directorate of Traffic, in association with the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior, will be hosting a virtual awareness seminar for Filipino community on 'Common Traffic Mistakes among Drivers' on Sunday. The seminar through Zoom application will be from 9 pm to 10.30pm. The event is organized as part of "Safe Ramadan Campaign" with the objective of raising the awareness on road safety among the road users and the public.   Though the main targeted audience of this virtual seminar are the Filipino community members, those who are intersted among the general public also can attend the seminar. During the seminar, the officers from the Traffic Department will be sharing valuable information related with red signal crossing, seatbelt safety, risks of using mobile phone while driving, smart traffic signals, Covid-19 protocols while driving, traffic statistics for the year 2020, overtaking from right, traffic surveillance cameras, minor accidents, yellow box at intersections, risks of over speeding, tips for safe driving during the holy month of Ramadan, safety at signals, safe track on the road and pedestrian safety.    The admission to the seminar is restricted for 1000 persons only on the first come first serve basis and the seminar will be an opportunity to interact with officers from the Traffic Department, and clear doubts related with the traffic safety and functions of the Traffic Directorate.
