Very hot, slightly cloudy weather expected tonight

Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Wednesday will be cloudy with chance of light rain at first becoming hot to very hot at places daytime with slightly dusty and some clouds at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore will be cloudy with chance of light rain at places at first becoming hazy with some clouds, the report added. Wind inshore will be mainly southwesterly to southeasterly at a speed of 05 to 15 knot gusting to 21 knot at places. Offshore, it will be southeasterly to southwesterly at a speed of 03 to 12 knot, gusting to 18 knot at places at times. Visibility will be 5 to 9 kilometers. Sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet. Offshore it will be 1 to 3 feet surging to 5 feet at places at times.
