Soon after India sealed their sixth U19 World Cup title, Sooryavanshi took centre stage during an Instagram Live session inside the dressing room. Walking up to captain Ayush Mhatre, he revealed that the Indian players had gone live to celebrate the moment.
When asked how he was feeling after leading India to the title, Mhatre replied humbly, “Jo bhi hai Vaibhav ki wajah se hai” (Whatever we have achieved is because of Vaibhav), drawing cheers from those around. Moments later, Sooryavanshi broke into an impromptu dance to popular Bhojpuri songs, adding a joyful, desi touch to the festivities.

Earlier on Friday, it was Sooryavanshi’s breathtaking century that laid the foundation for India’s dominant win over England in the final at the Harare Sports Club. The young batter smashed a sensational 175 off just 80 balls, laced with 15 fours and 15 sixes, as India clinched the title with a commanding 100-run victory.
