Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality invited the public to the second edition of Umm Salal Winter Markets Festival, in collaboration with the markets affiliated with Hassad Food Company.

In a post on social media, the Ministry said the Umm Salal Central market will open from November 6 to November 17 from 8am to 8pm.

While urging the public to enjoy a distinctive shopping experience, the market is set to feature seasonal local products in a lively winter atmosphere.

The Umm Salal Winter Festival aims to support and market the local products of dates, vegetables, and fruits, focusing on projects of productive families.

The central market is one of six integrated markets managed by Aswaq for Food Facilities Management Company (a subsidiary of Hassad Food), which includes a fish market, an auction hall, Al Mazrouaa’s yard (a space for fresh produce), a private slaughterhouse, shaded barns, vegetables, fruits and dates shops.
