Turkey ratifies Paris climate agreement

Turkey will finally ratify the Paris climate agreement, five years after initially signing it, according to its parliament's official Twitter account.
Turkish environment and urbanization minister Murat Kurum tweeted Wednesday that the Turkish lawmakers voted unanimously for ratification.
"I wish that this step, which strengthens to our fight against climate change and forms the basis of our 2053 Net Zero vision, will be beneficial," he said.
