Trump Official Signaled Concern In Lead-Up To Vanity Fair Photoshoot

The president's inner circle reportedly filed into the room "like nervous schoolchildren" for the photoshoot.
A Trump administration official made a dire prediction during a recent photoshoot for Vanity Fair, the magazine behind Tuesday’s bombshell coverage of the president’s inner circle.
The group of seven officials — selected by White House chief of staff Susie Wiles, whose shock comments on Trump 2.0 left her and the White House doing damage control on Tuesday — gathered for photos around a table in the Roosevelt Room.
“We’re all going to get fired for this,” the unnamed official said.
“Except for me,” Vice President JD Vance replied. “I have 100 percent job security.”
One snap from the shoot eventually became the cover photo for one of the Vanity Fair articles. The image shows Wiles and Vance seated at the table, where they are joined by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, senior White House aide Stephen Miller and White House deputy chief of staffs Dan Scavino and James Blair.
