'Trump Is Trapped': Jimmy Kimmel Reveals The President's Ultimate 'Backfire'

The late night host thinks he's figured out what's really going on.
Jimmy Kimmel has a new theory that would explain a lot about President Donald Trump.
“Sometimes I feel like Trump is trapped in some kind of a weird, horrible curse,” Kimmel said on Wednesday night. “Like maybe he hates being president, so he’s doing crazy things to try to get out of it. But because of the curse, it backfires.”
That would explain why the president pushes wildly unpopular ideas, yet won two presidential elections and has a base of supporters who won’t turn on him no matter what.
Kimmel showed how this “curse” might work in imagined conversations between Trump and his advisers.
“It’s like, ‘What if we defund all the cancer research?’ ‘They love it, Mr. President, they do.’ ‘All right, what if I pardon a bunch of scumbags because they gave me money?’ ‘Well, that’s no problem at all. No one even cares.’ ‘Damn it!’” Kimmel said. ”‘All right, I know: I’ll invade Greenland for no reason at all.’ And even that doesn’t work. Nothing works! The curse is too strong.”
"Somebody check on Michael B. Jordan’s mom," an X user joked online following comedian Nikki Glaser's spicy quip about the "Sinners" star.
The "Daily Show" host tore into the president's attempt to remake America.
“Sinners” was one of the least-awarded films at the Golden Globes despite receiving seven nominations.
“There’s [a] whole entire side of Leo that’s unexplored,” one social media user said.
Maher, who lost in his category to Ricky Gervais, did not appear to be amused by Sykes' jab.
“The carpet was on fire and smoke wafted up around the curtains,” a reporter who was backstage said.
"We need to speak up and shut this rogue government down. It's awful what they are doing to people," comedian Wanda Sykes said.
Nikki Glaser is hosting the glitzy ceremony.
Weir was one of the group's two frontmen and main vocalists for most of the band's history.
