Trump Could Face His 'McCarthy Moment' In The Epstein Files, Ex-Prosecutor Says

Joyce Vance questioned whether the Epstein saga could "finally" burst the president's bubble.

Former U.S. Attorney Joyce Vance on Wednesday argued that President Donald Trump “may not outlast” his administration’s saga with late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Vance — in a post titled “But His Emails...” on her SubStack — weighed in on the bombshell Epstein emails mentioning Trump, including one message Epstein sent to his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell where he described Trump spending “hours at my house” with someone whose name is redacted as “VICTIM.”

“Given everything we know about Donald Trump, everything he himself has said about girls and women, it’s hard to envision what innocent behavior he would have been engaged in for ‘hours’ spent with a victim of abuse at the scene of the crime — Epstein’s home, where sexual abuse was rampant,” she wrote.

As the House prepares to vote next week on releasing files tied to Epstein, Vance stressed that the White House is “doing everything it can to prevent” it despite the president’s promise to release the files on the campaign trail.

“Transparency means releasing the files. Not conducting interviews with someone who wants a pardon or selectively releasing only the documents that do you the least damage,” wrote Vance in a reference to Maxwell’s interview with the Justice Department and the documents Republicans have dropped thus far.
