This Controversial, Trump-Tied Comedian Just Ousted Joe Rogan From Top Podcast Spot On YouTube

The ranking is significant because it marks a possible shift in the podcast space, after Rogan and other right-wing podcasters propelled Trump to the White House last year.
Controversial podcaster Joe Rogan lost his top spot on the YouTube charts for the most popular podcasts last week to a problematic comedian with ties to President Donald Trump.
The chart, which is updated weekly, places “The Joe Rogan Experience” in second for July 7 to July 13, 2025, right after Tony Hinchcliffe’s “Kill Tony.” In May, Tony Hinchcliffe landed in second, just below Rogan, on YouTube.
At the time of writing, JRE is still No. 1 on the Spotify charts. The show also appeared in second place on Apple Podcasts behind ABC News’ true crime series “Devil in the Desert.”
The ranking is significant because it marks a possible shift in the podcast space. Rogan, who has both endorsed and interviewed Trump in the recent past, has now begun to criticize him after he, along with other right-wing podcasters, helped vault Trump to the White House for his second term last fall.
According to CNN in February 2024, the podcast was No. 1 globally for the past three years.
