While some businesses will be closed this holiday Monday, there is still lots to do over the weekend.
If you're looking for things to do this Thanksgiving, here are some fun events going on in and around Hamilton from Friday until Monday.
Ojistoh Publishing is bringing words to the streets at the City of Hamilton Art Crawl on Friday at 126 James Street N. Swing by for an open mic, live reading and book signing by Six Nations author Dawn Cheryl Hill.
How does an evening of live music sound?
A free, two-day festival offering music, food trucks and drag performances is coming to Hamilton's Bayfront Park.
It will take place Oct. 8 and 9, and offer performances by Tim Baker, Death from Above 1979, The Halluci Nation and more.
The event will be limited to 15,000 attendees per day. Admission is free but advance registration is required with tickets available at Supercrawl.ca.
