Sean “Diddy” Combs’ racketeering and sex-trafficking trial continues. Follow for live updates.
• On the stand now: “Mia,” one of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former assistants who is using a pseudonym in court, is testifying in his sex-trafficking trial. Earlier today, she said the rapper physically and sexually assaulted her. • Earlier testimony: Deonte Nash, a celebrity stylist and friend of Cassie Ventura, testified that he witnessed Combs be violent with Ventura — the prosecution’s star witness who testified previously about the physical and sexual abuse she says she endured from Combs. • Federal charges: Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges that include racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. If convicted on all counts, he could face up to life in prison. • Editor’s Note: If you or someone you know is struggling with intimate partner violence, there are resources available, including the National Domestic Violence Hotline. Mia, one of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former assistants and an alleged victim, testified about some of the injuries she would see on Cassie Ventura. “I would see bruises on her body and fat lips and busted eyebrow, like a gash on her forehead, black eyes, things like that,” she said.
