The Giants’ 2024 draft class helped save jobs — now they need more of that
NY Post
It just sort of happened.
There was a group text chain created by running back Tyrone Tracy among the six members of the Giants’ 2024 NFL Draft class, and one day early last season one of the young guys messaged, “Anyone want to go eat?’’
From there, a tradition was spawned, with the six players having dinners together, usually on the road, before as many games as possible.
Steakhouses were the favored spots, everyone paid for themselves, the conversation flowed and budding relationships grew into bonds.

Suddenly, someone had hit a rewind button and everyone had been transported back seven months. It was early spring instead of late fall, it was broiling hot outside the arena walls and not freezing cold. Everyone was back at TD Garden. There were 19,156 frenzied fans on their feet begging for blood, poised for the kill.
