Sheridan, who played Victor Baxter in the Disney Channel comedy from the aughts and in two spinoffs, had difficulty breathing as he summed up his misfortune from bed in an Instagram clip on Tuesday.
The comedian said he was on the road last month when he got sick.
His voice broke at times as if he were in distress.
Sheridan, 66, said doctors first thought the problem was “gastric” but days later he checked into a Los Angeles-area hospital on April 12 and was told the problem was pancreatitis, inflammation in the pancreas that can produce swelling and pain.
