Thank God 'The Bear' Is Much Better This Season — And We Have A Lot Of Thoughts
HuffPost
Season 4 of the FX series still gives us chaos, but with a bit more heart.
“The Bear,” FX’s smash hit series, premiered its fourth season on Hulu last week, and whew, those 10 episodes left us with a lot to chew on.
Season 4 was jam-packed with moments that made us remember why we fell in love with the show in the first place. Carmy (Jeremy Allen White), Syd (Ayo Edebiri), Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) and the crew cooked up some real magic for its patrons of The Bear, and left viewers with a much sweeter taste in their mouths after the much maligned third season. There were plenty of amazing guest stars, including Donna (Jamie Lee Curtis) returning to deliver a touching scene in the season’s penultimate episode. And, dare we say it, at times the show was actually funny, especially its fourth episode — featuring Syd, her cousin Chantel (Danielle Deadwyler), and her cousin’s daughter TJ (Arion King) — which was written by Edebiri and Lionel Boyce (who portrays Marcus).
HuffPost staff members binged the whole season and talked about some of our favorite moments, where “The Bear” really shines and the future of Chicago’s most innovative restaurant.
