
Teen sent to hospital following 'serious assault', say Regina police

The Regina Police Service says a 17-year-old is in hospital after being found with a life-threatening injury early Saturday morning.
In a news release, police said officers were called to the 2900 block of 5th Avenue shortly before 5:30 a.m. CST.
Police said the victim had a life-threatening injury and was transported to hospital, where they received treatment.
At last word, the teen was in stable condition.
Police are calling this a "serious assault" and are asking anyone with video surveillance to check for overnight activity that could help them in their investigation.
