In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 closed up 2.2% to 58,583.12 points; Hong Kong - Hang Seng Index ended up 0.7% to 26,765.72 points and Shanghai - Composite closed up 0.7% to 4,147.23 points Wednesday.
