TASMU to provide comprehensive digital solutions for users: Minister

Qatar Smart Program (TASMU), would significantly enhance efforts by the government and private sector to coordinate and develop comprehensive digital solutions for users, H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti, Minister of Transport and Communication, said during the launch of the TASMU Platform yesterday.

TASMU Platform is designed to utilize technology and innovations to provide smart and sustainable solutions and accelerate Qatar National Vision 2030. TASMU’s five top priority sectors include Transportation, Logistics, Environment, Healthcare, and Sports. It can be accessible from anywhere and at any time and is based on Azure Cloud, offering myriad Software-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service and Infrastructure-as-a-Service capabilities.  “We have adopted a revolution in technology that will create a positive change at the economic and community level. TASMU will be a source of information for comprehensive analysis of every sector which is going to be supportive to decision making and also direct investment for economic revenue,” Al Sulaiti said. “The platform will also contribute to implementing the smart Qatar vision and implementing several applications through linked platforms to meet the users need and have effective services based on the understanding of the methodology of use to give a comprehensive and comfortable service.”
