Muscat: HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman discussed Friday, in a phone call with German President, HE Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the developments of escalating military operations in the region and their implications for the security and stability of states.
HE The German President expressed his condemnation of the attacks targeting the Sultanate of Oman, the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and several other countries in the region.
During the call, both sides emphasised the importance of ending the conflict, urging the warring parties to adhere to international law and return to the diplomatic track, in a way that preserves state sovereignty and enhances security and stability in the region.
