South Carolina shooting leaves five dead including prominent doctor and two kids

Rock Hill, S.C. — A suspect was found after an hours-long search following a South Carolina shooting Wednesday evening that left five people dead, including two children and a prominent doctor, authorities said.

CBS Charlotte, North Carolina affiliate WBTV reports that what officers called an "armed and dangerous" suspect was found at his nearby home. Officers wouldn't say if the suspect was alive. Law enforcement helicopters and drones were used in the search, WBTV said.
