'Something's Wrong There': Nancy Pelosi Sounds Alarm On Trump's 'Mental Incapacity'
HuffPost
The former House speaker called out Trump, and those around the president for enabling him.
Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said she didn’t watch President Donald Trump’s wild prime-time speech earlier this month for one simple reason.
“I’ve had enough of him,” she told ABC’s Jonathan Karl in a new interview. “But I did see some of it in the news afterward and I think it was a demonstration of his mental incapacity.”
She also pointed to another recent example: Trump’s verbal attack on Rob Reiner after the filmmaker and his wife, Michele, were found stabbed to death in their home earlier this month.
“Something’s wrong there,” she said. “And something’s wrong with the people around him that they don’t stop him from his ridiculousness.”
Pelosi went toe-to-toe with Trump during his previous term in office, showing him up at the White House with a finger-wagging moment that went viral ― she said she is frequently asked to sign photos of that even today ― and again at the State of the Union, when she tore up his speech behind him.
