SIA, Scoot flights to Middle East cancelled amid US-Israel attack on Iran

SIA says it will continue to monitor the situation in the Middle East and adjust its flight paths as needed.
SINGAPORE: Two Singapore Airlines (SIA) flights and two other Scoot flights will be cancelled following the US and Israel's attack on Iran on Saturday (Feb 28).
In response to CNA's queries, SIA said the following flights will be cancelled after "an assessment of the geopolitical situation in the Middle East":
"We will continue to monitor the situation in the Middle East closely and will adjust our flight paths as needed," said an SIA spokesperson.
SIA advises its customers to update their contact details via the Manage Booking function on the SIA and Scoot websites, or subscribe to the mobile notification service, to receive flight updates.
One passenger paid just over US$30,000 for a one-way flight for two people and four cats from Singapore to Hong Kong.
The 59-year-old will also be charged with defamation and attempting to promote ill will between racial groups.
Police were alerted to a fight involving the two men along Lorong 16 Geylang at about 8.15am on Monday.
Unrelated trades are not allowed at these spaces as they are meant as an extension of the existing shops’ operations.
