New York: The Shura Council participated in the 3rd meeting of the Preparatory Committee for the 6th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament and the meeting of the Preparatory Committee for the 15th Summit of Women Speakers of Parliament. Both were held on Wednesday in New York. The Shura Council was represented by Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council, Member of both Preparatory Committees, and Representative of the Arab Group HE Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti, along with Member of the Shura Council HE Omair bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi.

The meeting of the Preparatory Committee for the 6th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament discussed the arrangements for the conference, which is scheduled to take place in Geneva in July.
