Shura Council joint committee resumes discussion on military retirement draft law

The joint committee of the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee and the Economic and Financial Affairs Committee of the Shura Council resumed the military retirement draft law discussion in a meeting on Sunday, in the presence of HE the Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti. HE the Chairman of the Economic and the Financial Affairs Committee Mohamed bin Yousef Al Mana chaired the meeting. The committee will invite representatives of the competent authorities in the state to discuss inquiries and observations on the "social insurance" and "military retirement" draft laws, and will inform the Shura Council of its findings in the next session of the Council. In a previous meeting, the joint committee had finalized the questions and observations related to the articles of the social insurance law and decided to invite representatives of the competent authorities to respond to them and clarify all its aspects.
