Shafallah launches Sunday summer activity for differently abled

The Shafallah Center for Persons with Disability, a Qatar Social Work subordinate, announced the launch of the 5th edition of its summer program on Sunday under the slogan "stay at home... your summer on the platform," via its online platform. The participation will be available to all differently abled persons in Qatar Al Shafallah Center Executive Director Laalee Mohammed Abu Alfin said that this year's summer activity aims to strengthen the center's initiative in providing the best educational, training and rehabilitation services for its affiliates and contribute to transferring affiliates from the routine and usual atmosphere through the implementation of various activities in an entertainment framework. She emphasized at the same time activating the role of extra-curricular activities to provide the associates with experiences and skills during the summer period. She explained that the summer activity will contribute effectively to employing the capabilities and capabilities of the affiliates via the implementation of purposeful activities to occupy their spare time, adding that the slogan for the summer activity this year will be held on the Microsoft Teams program. Abu Alfin pointed out that the summer activity will be between July 4 and August 4, four per week from Sunday to Wednesday from 9 am to 12 pm.
