Celebrities showed up to the People’s Choice Awards’ red carpet in their wildest and wackiest looks on Sunday night ― and it seemed like everyone had a different interpretation of the dress code.
Stars showed up in suits without shirts, cowboy hats and dramatic gowns ― giving followers a flashback to the sort of unafraid style normally reserved for the Grammy Awards.
The awards show, hosted by “Barbie” star Simu Liu, was held at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California.
Prior to the show, Liu gave people an idea of what was to come from the show, and promised it would be “celebratory.”
“It’s meant to feel positive,” Liu said in an interview with Variety on Wednesday. “That isn’t to say that we’ll never make a joke that doesn’t make fun of someone. But we’re not really out there to take anyone down or to make the most offensive joke that we possibly can. It’s really about making people laugh.”
The star was recognized with the 2026 Carol Burnett Award ahead of the 83rd annual Golden Globes.
Many people are expressing their support for the Oscar-winning actor.
“As an adult woman? No thank you,” the comedian said after giving her take.
Awards season is ramping up, and there's a whole new slate of TV series and movies to get into in 2026.
“I literally could not believe my eyes,” Kelly said.
The two actors were married in 2005 and later split in 2015.
“But I’m going to crack it," the comedian promised ahead of hosting Sunday's ceremony.
Spencer Pratt, a reality television personality who lost his home in the deadly Palisades wildfire last year, said that he intends to run for mayor of Los Angeles.
The actor's appearance at the world premiere of his film "Is This Thing On?" last fall drew heavy scrutiny online.
“This is honestly what’s behind it,” Yang said before giving his frank reason.
Filmmaker Josh Safdie said his star was adamant about how one of the movie's wildest scenes would go down.
