Section of Highway 3 near Cottam closed after 2-vehicle crash
CBC
Ontario Provincial Police say to expect delays on the morning commute Tuesday following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 3 near Cottam — a small community in Kingsville.
A section of the highway is shut down between Cameron Sideroad and Marsh Road with detours in place.
OPP Const. Steven Duguay says it happened just after midnight and that it is expected to remain closed for their investigation for the “better part of the morning.”
“Plan ahead this morning,” he said in a video posted to X.
“This is going to cause some delays in traffic. The detour routes are going to get a little bit busier because they’re not designed to hold all this traffic that normally would be travelling across Highway 3.”
No other details about the crash have been released by police at this time.
