Doha, Qatar: Safari, the leading hypermarket chain in Doha, has launched its much-awaited Mango Festival across all its outlets starting from May 7. Safari Group of Companies Chairman Hamad Dafar Al Ahbabi and Safari Group of Companies Managing Director Shaheen Backer inaugurated the Safari Mango Festival with a cake cutting ceremony along with other Safari management staff at Safari mall, Abu Hamour. 

As part of the festival, Safari is offering customers over 80 varieties of mangoes imported from countries such as India, Thailand, Indonesia, Uganda, Yemen, Colombia, the Philippines, Brazil, and more.

Popular Indian varieties like Alphonso, Malgova, Mango Tippu India, Mango Badami, Mango Moovandan, Mango Rumani, Mango Sindhooram, Neelam, and Panchavarnam, along with unique international types such as Baby Mango from Colombia, Carabao Mango from the Philippines, Mango from Indonesia, Mango Sudani, Tommy Mango from Uganda, Timor Mango from Yemen, and Apple Mango from Uganda, are all part of the extensive collection now available at Safari outlets. Safari has flown in all these mangoes directly from their respective countries, ensuring unmatched freshness and quality at competitive prices — something rarely matched by others in the retail industry.

Safari’s Bakery and Hot Food section is also celebrating the festival by offering a wide variety of mango-based dishes including mango cake, mango burfi, mango bun, fresh cream mango cake, mango payasam, fresh mango pickle, mango pulissery, mango fish curry, prawn mango curry, mango fish peera, and more.
