The comedian opened up about how the president's feud with her has fueled "a lot of problems" in her life.
Rosie O’Donnell has explained why returning to the United States is “going to be a challenge” for her as she revealed that she didn’t attend her daughter’s college graduation due to her longtime feud with President Donald Trump.
The comedian, in a recent episode of Mamamia’s “No Filter” podcast, opened up about moving to Ireland back in January and claimed that her security personnel “didn’t think it was wise” for her to go back for the occasion.
“Because I think Trump will use me to rile his base ... I’m his nemesis in his mind and to them, a lot of — like a third of the country,” said O’Donnell, who has recently faced threats from the president to revoke her U.S. citizenship.
Earlier this year, O’Donnell — whom the president has described as a “threat to humanity” — shared that she moved to Ireland with her daughter Dakota less than a week before the start of the president’s second term.
By March, she said she was in the process of obtaining Irish citizenship and would consider coming back to America when it is “safe for all citizens to have equal rights there.”
