Reliance Industries Limited's 44th AGM will begin at 2 pm. During the event, all eyes will be on RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani who is expected to make announcements regarding Jio 5G, a new affordable smartphone and a laptop.

The 44th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) will be held today from 2 pm onwards. The much-awaited event will be held virtually due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It is one of the most anticipated annual events of the year as Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani is expected to make some key announcements about his company’s upcoming ventures. During the event, Mukesh Ambani is expected to make major announcements across telecom, retail and oil-to-chemicals business. The company is expected to launch a new 5G affordable smartphone and a laptop called JioBook. Mukesh Ambani is also expected to speak about the company’s plans to rollout 5G internet.
