
Regina police investigating after man found dead in 12th Avenue home

The Regina Police Service is investigating after a man was found dead inside a home on 12th Avenue early Saturday morning.
Officers were called to a home on the 1000 block of 12th Avenue shortly before 1 a.m. When they arrived, they found a man dead in the home, police said in a Saturday news release.
The area was secured, and members of the major crime and forensic identification units were brought in to help.
Police tape could be seen around 1000 12th Ave., at the corner of Winnipeg Street, early Saturday afternoon. Police vehicles, including a forensic identification van, were also seen outside the home.
Regina police say it’s still early in their investigation, and no further details are being released at this time. They did not release the man's name or age, or say whether the death is considered suspicious.
