Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed higher on Wednesday by 87.96 points, or 0.78 percent, to reach 11,373.09 points.
During the session, a total of 142,162,034 shares were traded, with a value of QR 462,889,109.065, through 36,376 transactions across all sectors. The session saw the shares of 33 companies rise, and those of 18 companies decline, while 2 companies maintained their previous closing price. At the end of the trading session, the market capitalization stood at QAR 680,331,304,005.868, compared to QR 677,117,034,976.276 in the previous session.
