Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Wednesday's trading higher by 0.85 points, or 0.01 percent, to close at 10,699.24 points.
During the session, 143,720,447 shares, valued at QAR 381,746,518.769, were traded in 18,379 transactions across all sectors.
Shares of 17 companies rose, while 33 companies saw a decline in their share price, and two companies maintained its previous closing price.
Market capitalization at the end of the trading session amounted to QAR 632,867,359,184.110, compared to QAR 632,072,278,270.278 in the previous session.
