Doha, Qatar: QNB participated as the Strategic Sponsor for the 7th GCC Businesswomen Forum organised by the Federation of Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers (FGCCC), in cooperation with the Qatar Chamber and with the support of the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)under the theme “Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Investment.”

The sponsorship affirms the bank’s keenness to economically empower Gulf business women and strengthen their contribution in promoting transition to a knowledge- based economy across GCC states.

It also supports the forum’s role as a strategic platform for Gulf businesswomen to exchange experiences and expertise, explore new opportunities for cooperation and partnership, and address the key challenges and business opportunities, in light of global economic shifts and increasing focus on sustainability and digital transformation.

The step also reflects joint cooperation with the Qatar Chamber in promoting entrepreneurship and the sustainability of investment by businesswomen in the GCC countries, aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030 and the sustainable development strategies of GCC countries.

Over two days, participants discussed a number of topics and inspiring success stories of female entrepreneurs, focusing on mechanisms that support their participation in sustainable investment and means of transitioning from traditional models to more innovative, digital-based approachesin line with the Gulf region’s broader shift towards a knowledge economy.
