Doha, Qatar: Qatar Foundation will launch the fifth season of the animated television series Siraj, an initiative of Qatar Foundation’s (QF’s) Pre-University Education, with the first episode premiering on October 2 as part of a special event at Place Vendôme Mall, running until October 11. Tickets to attend the premier can be purchased through the Snoonu app.
The new season features 10 episodes covering a variety of themes with the opening episode spotlighting guests from the Qatar–Chile and Argentina 2025 Year of Culture. Following the event, the episode will be uplouded on the Siraj YouTube channel, and the remaining episodes will be released weekly starting October 11.
This season takes children on a series of adventures that transport them from science labs to fields and farms, and from arenas of research and discovery to experiences rich with challenges and knowledge.
Through its beloved characters Rashid, Noura, and their friends, the fifth season of Siraj delivers a well-rounded set of values and educational skills in a fun and meaningful way. Children will learn skills such as gathering information, critical thinking, developing self-learning abilities, overcoming failure, building friendships, exploring, organising personal belongings, coping with pressure, solving problems, and adapting to changing circumstances.
“Siraj returns with a new set of values and skills that we aim to deliver to children in a way that combines fun with hands-on experience,” said Head of Culture and Identity at Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education (PUE), Azlaa Ahmed Al-Qahtani . “This season stands out with exciting topics, most notably hydroponic farming and artificial intelligence.
