QCS discusses latest developments in reconstructive surgery of breast cancer

In the context of supporting, empowering and advocating for people living with cancer, Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) organised a workshop on reconstructive surgery of the breast cancer. The workshop was presented by Dr Haitham Khalil, consultant - oncoplastic and reconstructive surgeon plastic, University Hospital Birmingham, UK, and Dr Artefaa Alshamari, oncoplastic breast surgeon, Hamad Medical Corporation, honorary ambassador of QCS. The workshop was attended by Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Jabr al-Thani, chairman of QCS, Dr Abdulla al-Ansari, chief medical officer, Hamad Medical Corporation, Nancy G Brinker, chair of the board of directors of Promise of Fund, Florida and the USA Goodwill Ambassador for Cancer Control for the United Nations, and Dr Hadi Mohamad Abu Rasheed, scientific adviser, QCS.
