Senior business executives and technology leaders convene in Doha to explore how AI, data and applications are driving organizational evolution
Doha, Qatar: Senior business executives and technology visionaries gathered in Doha this week to examine how organizations in Qatar can best leverage artificial intelligence (AI), integrated data, and enterprise applications to advance their strategic objectives. The SAP Business Suite Innovation Day served as a regional platform for dialogue on how AI can accelerate national progress across key industries including energy, retail, finance, and manufacturing.
The event also delved into the emerging concept of agentic AI, referring to autonomous, goal-driven systems that move beyond traditional automation and generative models by planning and executing multi-step workflows with minimal human intervention.
“A new era of enterprise management is taking shape, and Qatar is already setting the pace in AI readiness,” said Alaa Jaber, Managing Director of SAP Qatar and Fast Growth Markets. “Artificial intelligence is now accepted as an essential strategic capability that enables national growth and competitiveness. According to the International Monetary Fund, increasing AI adoption within Qatar could yield significant productivity gains, with the country positioned to lead its emerging-market peers in readiness for AI deployment.”
During the event, SAP experts showcased how role-aware assistants powered by agentic AI are reshaping the way work is performed across functions. These assistants coordinate specialized Joule Agents to execute complex workflows in finance, human resources, supply chain, and customer engagement.
