Qatari star sprinter Abdalelah Haroun Hassan passes away

Qatari track and field sprinter Abdalelah Haroun Hassan passed away Saturday, the Qatar Olympic Committee said on their twitter account Saturday. Haroun, aged 24, died in a car crash Saturday morning in Qatar. Specialised in 400m, Haroun  has won several medals since 2015.  He was crowned the 2015 Asian champion in the event and holds the Asian indoor record for 400m and 500m. He was the 400m World bronze medalist and winner of Diamond League London 2018. He had also won world bronze in 2017.
