Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounces killing of embassy security guard in France

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that it had received with great sadness, sorrow, and denunciation the news of killing one of the guards of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the French Republic while he was performing his duties at the embassy headquarters Monday morning. In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed its full confidence in the justice procedures initiated by the competent French authorities after they arrested the suspect, and noted that it is awaiting the results of the investigations. The Ministry expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the family of the deceased, and reiterated its firm position rejecting criminal acts, regardless of the motives and reasons.
