Qatar University ranks 224 globally in QS World University Rankings 2022

Qatar University (QU) has ranked 224 globally according to the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Ranking 2022. The university continued its progress at a steady pace; to be on the verge of entering the list of the top 200 universities in the world. According to the QS World University Ranking 2022; QU ranked 224, jumping from 245 in the 2021 ranking, achieving an increase of 21 places over last year's version of the same classification. The QS World University Rankings is compiled using six simple metrics. These six metrics include; Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Faculty/Student Ratio, Citations per faculty, International Faculty Ratio and International Student Ratio. This year’s results show a noticeable increase in the following indicators: academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per faculty, ,   confirming Qatar University’s international standing, the diversity of the campus environment, and the global impact of the university’s research .
