Doha: The Qatar Scientific Club (QSC), affiliated with the Ministry of Sports and Youth, is participating in the 16th edition of the Middle East International Inventions Exhibition, organised by the State of Kuwait from 8 to 11 February 2026. The Qatari delegation will showcase a selection of innovative projects across various scientific and technological fields.
The delegation is headed by Deputy Executive Director of the Qatar Scientific Club, Eng. Abdulrahman Saleh Khamis, includes five innovators presenting projects that reflect the high level of creativity and excellence achieved by Qatari youth.
Among the participants, innovator Hessa Mansour Al Nuaimi will present the Ultrasonic Fire Extinguishing Device, an innovative system that uses directed sound waves to extinguish flames without chemicals or water.
Innovator Shahd Ahmed Al Sulaiti will showcase the Smart Helmet, a device that captures images and measures distances at the push of a button, using ultrasonic sensors and artificial intelligence to provide precise object dimensions in real environments, displayed via an electronic interface.
This project is a collaborative effort between the Qatar Scientific Club and the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) under the fourth edition of the "Engineer of the Future" program, with Ashghal participating as part of the Qatari delegation.
