Qatar's Ambassador to Spain participates in final event of global competition

Representing Qatar National Tourism Council, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Spain Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al Hamar participated in the final event of the projects startup competition for the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which was organised by the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) in the Spanish capital, Madrid. In a speech on this occasion, His Excellency the Ambassador pointed out the importance attached by the State of Qatar to achieving the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, explaining that all of the projects for infrastructure in the State and those for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 have been developed and implemented from a sustainability perspective. His Excellency also addressed the pioneering role that Qatar Airways has played during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, in addition to the measures and procedures taken by the State of Qatar to combat the virus.
