Doha, Qatar: Qatari passport holds a global passport power rank of 44 with a mobility score of 120, revealed the Global Passport Power Rank 2025 released by Arton Capital recently.
The Qatari passport gives its citizens visa-free access to 69 countries and allows visa-on-arrival entry to 42 countries. While those holding the passport require a visa to 78 countries, electronic travel authorisation (ETA) is available in nine countries.
United Arab Emirates was ranked as the most powerful passport with visa-free access to 179 countries. Singapore ranked second, rising from its 30th position to 2nd, and tied with Spain, whose citizens can travel to 175 countries without a visa.
Meanwhile, among the GCC countries, Kuwait's passport ranked just behind Qatar at 45, while passports of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain were ranked 48 and Oman was ranked 51.
The United States of America has a passport mobility score of 168 (passport power rank of 9) in 2025, compared to 173 (passport power rank of 8) in 2024. Meanwhile, the United Kingdom, which had a mobility score of 174 (passport power rank of 7) in 2024, has a score of 169 (passport power rank of 8) this year.
