Doha, Qatar: Students from Qatar Foundation’s (QF) Pre-University Education (PUE) schools took part in the Doha International Book Fair, showcasing self-written stories that reflect their awareness of key global issues, such as the environment, sustainability, and technology, while promoting positive social and moral values.
Among the participants was Jawaher Al-Mujali, a student at Qatar Academy Doha (QAD), who presented her first literary work: a story aimed at children and youth that promotes environmental awareness and highlights sustainability efforts within Education City.
“I was keen to convey this message in a simple, story-based format,” she said.
Al-Mujali used artificial intelligence (AI) tools to design her story’s illustrations, aiming to create engaging visuals for young readers, and said: “I wanted to incorporate AI into my first work to keep up with technology, especially since the story is about tech and sustainability,” she explained.
Other QAD students also took part in the exhibition, including siblings Hissa Mubarak Al Thani and Tamim Mubarak Al Thani, whose participation stood out.
