Qatar Charity launched an incubator for initiatives and volunteering under the name "Izdihar", stemming from its keenness on attracting volunteers and engaging them in providing humanitarian and development services. The 'Izdihar' incubator aims to incubate and sponsor volunteer initiatives and events, provide consultations in the volunteer field, spread the culture of initiative in the community and highlight its importance, direct youth energies to charitable and community work, gather distinguished initiatives under one umbrella, promote innovation and creativity in the community and provide a database of initiatives and volunteers. Assistant CEO of Operations and Local Programs Sector at Qatar Charity Faisal Al Fahida noted the importance of establishing a headquarters for the volunteers that facilitates their work, introduces them to the work and culture of Qatar Charity, invests in their efforts further, and links them with partners from institutions and government agencies during large activities and events, in light of the large turnout to register to volunteering through Qatar Charitys website, noting that the number of registered volunteers at Qatar Charity has reached more than 25,000 volunteers. Head of the Initiatives and Volunteering Department at Qatar Charity Fatima Al Mohannadi gave an introductory presentation on the objectives and policy of "Izdihar", explaining that it provides a homogeneous youth environment to attract initiatives and volunteers and a headquarters for their work and programs, and integrates them with Qatar Charity's culture through training, support and incubation. Yousef Al Khadhem, President of the Arab Federation For Voluntary Activity Dr. Yousef Al Kadhim highlighted the significance of "Izdihar" initiative as one of the important projects in the State of Qatar. He added that the State of Qatar is considered one of the leading countries in spreading the culture of volunteer work, noting that the opportunity is available for everyone to contribute to the State's initiatives through Qatar Charity.
